The Ecommerce Operations Manager is responsible for leading all the teams of the e-commerce departments (customer service, product merchandising, digital marketing, IT and Admin). The successful candidate must have related skills and people management experience, combined with strong management and leadership capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all the e-commerce operations of the company.
  • Taking full ownership and management of the e-commerce departments and their performance with a team size of 4-5 line managers and a total of 25-30 staff.
  • Create, review and update business process flows. Ensure continuous process improvements leading to better quality/efficient processes.
  • Ensure that we meet all the KPIs of the business.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to all the e-commerce departments.
  • Coordinate with the recruitment team for the recruitment needs of the e-commerce department.
  • Coordinate and lead the e-commerce projects for business development, finding new and replacing existing service providers.
  • Work closely with all the warehouse, inventory, and accounts departments of the company
  • Identify areas of issues and improvements for the business and implement changes.

    Minimum Requirements

    • At least 5 years of managerial experience, leading a team of 15-25 employees in an e-commerce business (B2C or D2C)
    • Experience with Digital Marketing
    • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
    • Experienced with ERP systems, task management systems, database management
    • Familiar with e-commerce industry trends, applicable laws and tax rules
    • Meticulous in your approach with high attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
    • Previous experience of working with IT teams
    • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Willingness to work on Weekends

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Amazon (Seller Central), eBay, and other marketplaces
    • Experience with Shopify
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 app suite
    • Experience with SQL Server
    • Experience with Click Up
    • Managing 3rd Party Fulfilment partners
    • A positive attitude, full of ideas and working well under pressure, working independently to draw conclusions and take action
